Who is it for?
Our Foundations program will prepare you for our Advanced Crossfit classes at 214. This program is truly for everyone, regardless of fitness level. You will be guided through the basics and emphasis will be placed on integrity and consistency before intensity. That said, expect to see performance increases as you progress and become more comfortable with the training. Those with more advanced athletic backgrounds will also benefit from the program due to the technical nature of many of the movements. Everyone will be training at their relative intensity, so your strength will move up each week as well as your fitness no matter where you start!
How much does it cost?
The class is charged as a regular monthly membership at $159. We offer reservations online to guarantee the next available spot at your preferred time. No discounts are available for Foundations. Please note that your Foundations membership will auto-renew unless you give written notice to cancel. The test into Advanced CF classes costs $50.
When do the classes meet?
Our current Foundations classes meet at the following times and new athletes start every Monday. You select one section and then attend 3 sessions per week:
- M/W/F - 5:30am
- M/W/F - 6:30am
- M/W/F - 6:00pm
- M/T/Th - 7:00pm
All Foundations athletes have access to the Saturday 10am open gym to practice skills or make up missed workouts.
How do I start?
We start new athletes in Foundations each Monday, space permitting (we limit space to ensure you receive proper coaching attention.) To get started in Foundations:
1) First, purchase a reservation ($159+tax) which guarantees you the next available spot for your preferred time slot and serves a deposit on your first month in Foundations. We will place you into a class in order of reservation.
2) After reserving, email email@example.com with your preferred class and any questions, including start date.
Please note that we also offer an All-Access Foundations Membership for $189+tax if you need to mix and match the course sections.
What is the Advanced Class Test-in process?
After some time in the Foundations course, you should become very familiar with the movements, build substantial strength, and improve your metabolic conditioning. You may then be ready for the next step: our advanced Crossfit classes. Testing into the advanced class is easy! Simply discuss your desire with one of the coaches and they will schedule a time to evaluate your abilities. We have made the test-in requirements available below, so you will know exactly what is required and how best to be prepared.
What if I have to miss a class(es)?
No problem! Because this is a continuously running program, we will be revisiting the material at some point. Furthermore, we offer a Foundations Open Gym on Saturdays at 10am. Coaches are available at that time to help you work on movements, answer your questions, or even run through a workout.
